Brush Vintage Cookie Jars
Brush Pottery began in 1925, making cookie jars until 1982. It was in 1925, that the Brush-McCoy Pottery ended and Brush Pottery went on to produce some of todays most collectible cookie jars.
Brush cookie jars have been widely reproduced, and it is important to remember that there has never been a Brush-McCoy cookie jar made. Any cookie jar that says its a Brush-McCoy is a fake. Although there are several Brush marks, some Brush cookie jars are marked "USA" only and others are not marked at all, making them difficult to identify.
Twin Winton designed cookie jars for Brush Pottery from 1940-1971 and these designs can be distinguished by a "W" on the bottom of the jar.
